Overview

Eduardo's Taqueria, nestled in Phase 2 Alusiman St, Jaro, Iloilo City, offers an authentic taste of Mexico right in the heart of the Philippines. This cozy restaurant stands out for its vibrant yet intimate atmosphere, perfect for both casual meals and small gatherings. The space, though modest in size, is thoughtfully designed to enhance the dining experience with simple but effective interiors that invite comfort and warmth.

At the core of Eduardo's menu are their signature tacos and burritos, showcasing traditional Mexican flavors crafted with care. The Tres Tacos—featuring beef, chicken, and shrimp varieties—are a crowd favorite, offering a balanced blend of juicy, well-seasoned meats paired with fresh herbs and crisp vegetables. For those craving something heartier, the Steak Burrito and Chicken Burrito serve generous portions that delight without overwhelming. Meanwhile, the Birria Tacos evoke the rich, slow-cooked essence of Mexican stews, expertly translated for local palates.

The restaurant also impresses with standout dishes like Carne Asada Fries, where tender grilled beef meets a bed of crispy fries, and the Steak Quesadilla, which melds melted cheese with succulent steak fillings. For a refreshing contrast, the Caesar Salad with Chicken provides a fresh bite that complements the more indulgent offerings.

Eduardo's Taqueria appeals especially to those seeking genuine Mexican flavors without leaving Iloilo. The attention to authentic spices and cooking techniques is evident in every dish, transporting diners straight to Mexico’s lively street food scene. Service is efficient and friendly, enhancing the overall experience, though a brighter front-of-house demeanor could add an extra touch of warmth.

Clients often praise the generous servings and remarkable taste consistency, making it a reliable choice for both newcomers eager to explore Mexican cuisine and seasoned lovers of the fare. Whether you are grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a relaxed meal, Eduardo's Taqueria captures the essence of Mexican culinary traditions within a welcoming local spot.

SUUUUUUPER NAMIT GID!!! Went here just at the right time. Around 11am on a Wednesday. The place was all ours. Until it was about lunch time and ppl started coming in. It's a small place with great interiors and service! We really loved the food and the whole experience! We ordered: • Chicken Burrito (good for 2) Php200 • Birria Tacos (3pcs, serving size can be good for 2) Php260 • Carne Asada Fries (heads up: it's really HUGE) Php280

food was great!! honestly wished they had a branch in Metro Manila. taste was authentic compared to other Mexican joints we ate in. we had caesar salad, chicken burrito, and steak burrito. meats were juicy and well-seasoned and you know they didn't scrimp on ingredients. herbs and veggies used were fresh as well. employee on the counter could use a little smile though

Best Mexican comfort food in Iloilo City. Very underrated and cosy place too! We've been a regular customer for a while, so we managed to taste everything on their menu. All of it is consistently good! They serve sharing sizes in a cheap price, so bring your friends and family to eat here!

They do Mexican food very well. Large and satisfying servings, friendly staff, delicious food. The steak salad was big with plenty of salad and steak. I got a chicken burrito for 240 and it was great, and pretty big. What does the gigante look like for 700+? I recommend and will be back.

Worth the long trip just to try these delicious mexican foods. The food served here is meticulously prepared from the presentation and authenticity of flavors. You need to have plenty of time to savor this along with your close friends since the ambiance called for an intimate and limited seating. I guess you need to book in advance for large groups. The price is affordable, overall a must try.
